This urban area has strong links with adjacent parts of Hampshire. And there are traffic demands from both cars and goods vehicles. There are significant challenges caused by heavy traffic on roads including the A3016 through Upper Hale and A325 through Heath End.
Potential options could include:
Quick wins will also be progressed to tackle the impacts of HGVs and speeding traffic through the area, including reduced speed limits, e.g. 20mph.
